Founded in 2015 by Wolfram Wächter and headquartered in Mengen, southern Germany, DAS Private Jets GmbH carries forward the legacy of Donau Air Service GmbH, reflected in the name “DAS.” Our core business is operating business jets and offering charter flights at the highest international standards.

Chartering with DAS Private Jets means experiencing individual travel at its finest. Every flight combines uncompromising safety, outstanding service, and maximum flexibility - granting our passengers the freedom to reach their destinations quickly, comfortably, and elegantly, without rigid schedules or time-consuming check-ins.

Our fleet is managed and maintained in-house by our dedicated team and flown exclusively by employed commercial pilots. We uphold the highest quality standards in every aspect: from safe and fully compliant flight operations to service excellence that exceeds expectations.

Behind DAS Private Jets stands a team of around 50 highly committed colleagues, working hand in hand with Managing Director and owner Wolfram Wächter to deliver the highest levels of trust, professionalism, and performance—both in the air and on the ground.

Wolfram Wächter is the head and heart of the company. He is an entrepreneur through and through and manages the company with dedication and passion. His decades of experience as a sales and business manager in various industries have equipped him perfectly to juggle the diverse demands of the aviation industry. He is always available to listen to investors, customers, and employees.

Patrick Fitz

Safety Management & Compliance Monitoring

As Head of Safety & Compliance, Patrick Fitz is responsible for key areas of flight operations and the entire company. He has extensive technical background from airlies and large companies, as well as experience in senior positions in quality management. This gives him excellent judgment in his daily work, which he can apply in a targeted manner. He is established as a competent and trustworthy contact person among the staff.

Franco Freier

Head of Flight & Ground Operations

As Flight Operations Manager, Franco Freier represents DAS Private Jets GmbH in all flight operations matters, both internally and externally. He has been at home in aviation for over three decades, has flown several different aircraft types as an experienced pilot, and is familiar with both commercial and non-commercial flight operations. He handles legal principles, official regulations, and frequently changing rules with confidence and expertise based on his extensive experience.

Benjamin Hirschfeld

Head of Sales & Operations

Benjamin Hirschfeld heads up the sales and organization division for charter flights. This department is the driving force behind flight operations, which he and his team work hard to promote and maintain at the highest professional level. Thanks to his professional background in both aviation and sales, he has the key skills required for his area of responsibility, complemented by his personality and authenticity.

Ivan Krytskyi

Head of CAMO

Ivan Krytskyi combines technical expertise with professional experience in almost all flight operations departments, which he has gained over the course of his career. As head of the CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) department, he and his team monitor all maintenance intervals, organize maintenance and repairs, and ensure the fleet's technically sound condition.

Rolf Nagl

Head of Accounting

Rolf Nagl handles the company's financial affairs with skill and reliability, cooperates with all departments with the necessary tact and sensitivity, and also takes care of the ongoing development of internal processes. Sonja Wächter

Human Resources & Marketing

Sonja Wächter is responsible for recruiting and human resources at the company and takes care of DAS Private Jets' public image. She knows the company inside out and is therefore the point of contact for any questions, whether administrative, operational, or informational—she is the one who has an answer to (almost) everything, or at least knows where to find it. She has helped shape and mold the face of the company over the years.

Assistant to CEO

Christine Lange is the right hand of the management team and takes care of organizational and structural issues. As an experienced executive assistant, she always keeps track of everything, organizes, creates, and perfects.
